Which style is right for me?

  • Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic style of yoga where movements are synchronized with the breath. Often called ‘Flow’, it transitions smoothly from one pose to the next, creating a continuous, moving meditation.

  • Power Yoga is a fitness-based derivative of Vinyasa. It focuses on building strength, flexibility and endurance through more intense, athletic sequences. While still rooted in traditional yoga, it prioritises a vigorous physical workout that will leave you feeling energized and empowered.

  • Prenatal yoga is a gentle, supportive form of yoga designed specifically for pregnancy. Classes are adapted to accommodate the physical and hormonal changes of pregnancy, focusing on safe movement, mindful breathing and relaxation. The practice helps ease common discomforts such as back pain, stiffness, and tension, while encouraging a deeper connection with your changing body and your baby.

Alongside physical benefits, prenatal yoga supports emotional wellbeing by reducing stress and building confidence for birth. Sessions often include breathing techniques, pelvic floor awareness, and guided relaxation, offering tools that can be useful during pregnancy, labour, and beyond. Suitable for all levels, prenatal yoga provides a calm, nurturing space to move, rest, and prepare for birth.

  • Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, meditative practice that focuses on the deeper tissues of the body: specifically the connective tissues like fascia, ligaments and joints. Unlike more active (yang) styles that focus on muscle engagement, Yin is almost entirely floor-based and passive.

  • Meditation is the practice of training your mind to achieve a state of focused awareness and emotional calm. While it has ancient roots, modern meditation is a practical tool used to ‘quiet the noise’ of daily life, helping you move from a state of constant reacting to a state of conscious being.

Breathwork is a collection of techniques where you consciously control your breathing pattern to influence your mental, emotional, or physical state. It works by directly talking to your Autonomic Nervous System.
